Description
What kind of wine it is
Enrosadira Rosé di Pinot Brut by Ruggeri is a Brut rosé sparkling wine that clearly expresses the character of Pinot Noir. Produced in Veneto, this wine stands out for its intense and fresh style, supported by a harmonious and elegant structure. In the glass, it displays a fine and persistent perlage, capable of creating a light and velvety mousse that envelops the palate in a pleasant tactile sensation. The lively freshness and vibrant minerality define a dynamic flavour profile, enriched by delicate hints of small red fruits that prolong the finish. A sparkling wine that combines drinkability and technical precision, ideal for various convivial occasions.
Where it comes from
The Pinot Noir grapes used for this label are grown among the hills of Valdobbiadene and the Cartizze areas, in the heart of the Treviso region. The selected vineyards take root in calcareous and clayey soils enriched with sandstone, a geological composition that imparts pronounced minerality and subtle aromatic nuances to the wine. The hillside microclimate and temperature variations favour balanced ripening, culminating in the harvest at the beginning of September. Production is guided by the experience of the Bisol family, whose winemaking history has been consolidated over time through a constant dedication to hillside viticulture and meticulous care of each individual row.
How it is produced
The vinification process begins with a brief skin maceration lasting a few hours, designed to extract the typical intense pink colour without weighing down the palate. After an initial fermentation at a controlled temperature, the prise de mousse is carried out using the Charmat method in large closed vessels, maintaining cool temperatures to preserve the fruit's fragrance. The subsequent ageing for at least six months on fine lees adds depth and complexity. This careful technical process develops a clear olfactory profile, where notes of pomegranate and currant stand out, intertwined with floral hints of peony and rose, accompanied by subtle balsamic breaths of mint.
History and Curiosities
The Enrosadira Rosé di Pinot Brut embodies a centuries-old tradition, born from the passion of the Bisol family in Valdobbiadene. Since 1950, the Ruggeri winery has enhanced 100% Pinot Noir, creating a sophisticated sparkling wine with an intense pink colour that evokes the magic of Alpine sunsets. Thanks to a patient six-month refermentation using the Charmat Method, this refined sparkling wine releases delicate notes of pomegranate, peony and wild mint. On the palate, it envelops with a vibrant minerality and a pronounced freshness, perfect for any toast.

Ruggeri’s roots stretch far back to the nineteenth century, to Eliseo Bisol, who, along with his son Luigi was one of the first winemakers in Valdobbiadene. The business’s significant growth began in 1950 when Giustino Bisol founded the current winery with his cousin, and it was his surname, Ruggeri, that was chosen as the company name. The unswerving commitment to excellence continued with the work of Giustino’s son, Paolo, and granddaughter Isabella.
Since 2017, Ruggeri has been part of the Rotkäppchen-Mumm Group, a highly fruitful partnership which has paired our shared visions, trust in common values and a mutual commitment to ever higher quality standards. Read more
