Description
Still red Barbaresco DOCG, 14% ABV, produced by Prunotto. 100% Nebbiolo, 2022 vintage. A Barbaresco that embodies the excellence of Piedmont, with a history dating back to 1904. The grapes were selected in the vineyard, destemmed, and pressed. Maceration lasted approximately 15 days at a maximum temperature of 30°C. Malolactic fermentation was completed before winter. Aged for at least 12 months in oak barrels of varying capacities, followed by further bottle aging in the Prunotto cellars before shipping. Complex aromas with hints of licorice, wild berries, cinnamon, cloves, and violet. Intense garnet red with dark ruby reflections. Full and enveloping tannins with a lingering aftertaste of ripe fruit.
