Description
A still white wine from Mount Etna, Sicily, 13% ABV, produced by Pietradolce. 100% Carricante, 0.75L bottle, 2023 vintage. An Etna Bianco that celebrates the elegance of Carricante, a native grape variety that finds its maximum expression in the volcanic terroir. It opens with delicate floral nuances of white rose, lily of the valley, and jasmine, paired with hints of pineapple and Sicilian citron, lifted by echoes of iodine. The palate is soft, driven by a gentle, fresh-savory verve that provides balance. The finish is a blend of savory and citrusy notes, a wine that tells the story of a unique terroir.

We are one with our land: the Pietradolce vineyards stand out against the volcano, in perfect symbiosis with the broom, birches and lava stones. Read more
