Description

Pallini Limoncello has been produced by Pallini in a completely natural way since 1875 from Sfusato lemons, harvested by hand as soon as they are perfectly ripe. Made only with the peel of organic lemons from the Amalfi Coast PGI, water, sugar, and alcohol, it contains no chemicals and is organic and natural. The climate of these parts of the coast allows these lemons to grow at a rate unmatched in other areas. Their characteristic peel is very wrinkled and thick, about twice as thick as that of traditional lemons, and is rich in essential and fragrant oils. The Amalfi Coast offers many Lemon plantations overlooking the blue sea and a land full of sun and typical aromas. After being harvested, the Sfusato lemons are immediately infused to give those who drink this liqueur all the fullness of the Amalfi Coast PGI. Produced with an ancient recipe that is still used today to guarantee, with simplicity and few ingredients, a full-bodied, balanced and sweet taste with a long citrus persistence. Its characteristic color obtained without artificial colorings is intense bright yellow and lights up the eye, the nose is struck immediately after opening by the typical fragrance of pure processed lemon peel.

Pallini is one of Rome's oldest and most important companies in the drink industry. The company is mostly known in Italy for Mistrà and fruit syrups. Established in 1875 by Nicola Pallini in Antrodoco, a small village in the center of Italy, it moved to Rome in the 1920's where it still has its production site and where there is now the only existing distillery. Among all its products, Mistrà, a dry anise liqueur, soon became known as an unbeatable way to "lace" espresso coffee.
Nowadays Pallini exports its product in over 35 countries worldwide and it is a leader with its Limoncello Pallini in the Duty Free segment and in the US market. Pallini also produces Sambuca 313, a wide range of liqueurs for professional and domestic pastry cooking, and imports a vast assortment of specialty products from all over the world .
