| Production technique | Gentian Lutea, Chinese Rhubarb, Peppermint. Gentiana Lutea: is a protected plant that grows wild on the Apennines and in the mountains even above 2000 m above sea level. Its harvesting is regulated. The root is macerated in alcohol for at least 45 days and a perfumed essence is extracted from it, with a characteristic bitter note and renowned digestive properties. Chinese rhubarb: the drug obtained from the long maceration of the rhizomes has purifying and invigorating properties known for thousands of years and gives the liqueur an unmistakable aroma. Peppermint: This is a fairly common herbaceous plant. The freshly picked leaves are macerated in alcohol at a controlled temperature to preserve the fresh and balsamic notes. |
