Description

What type of wine it is

The Rosso di Gino from Fattoria San Lorenzo is a still red wine with a Typical Geographical Indication (IGT) from the Marche, produced through a harmonious blend of Montepulciano and Sangiovese vinified using spontaneous fermentation. Visually, it presents a ruby red colour, while the aromatic profile is characterised by clear hints of red fruit. On the palate, it offers a dynamic sip and an enveloping softness, providing a direct, essential drink with great personality.

How it is produced

The vinification process begins with spontaneous fermentation carried out exclusively by indigenous yeasts. This is followed by prolonged maceration on the skins, essential for the optimal extraction of colour and phenolic components. Ageing continues for twelve months on the lees, favouring greater fullness and roundness on the palate. To preserve its integrity, the wine is bottled without filtration. To best appreciate its nuances, decanting for about an hour before serving is recommended.

An advocate of the organic method and beyond, Natalino has always proposed very recognisable, unique Verdicchio wines, to which spontaneous fermentation, long rests on the skins and the use of indigenous yeasts give inviting, complex aromas and a satisfying sip. The same fine qualities are repeated with the long maceration reds, d Montepulciano and Syrah.

Very special wines, from old vineyards, appreciable above all if drunk with the right knowledge and all the attention they deserve.
