The Dürnberg wine estate is located in the traditional wine village of Falkenstein, the historic heart of the Weinviertel. Winegrowing has been documented here since the 12th century, and between the 13th century and the 17th century, winegrowing matters between Vienna and Brno were regulated by the Falkenstein Mountain Court. At this focal point of old and new wine culture springs a wine of unmistakable aromatics and deep spiciness.

The cool characteristics of the wines are the result of an exceptional terroir. On the calcareous soils and thanks to a favourable microclimate, the grapes reach an ideal ripeness. This results in wines with fine aromatics, pronounced fruit and vital acidity.
