Description
A still organic red from the Marche region, 2016 vintage, produced by Di Giulia. A wine born from a blend of Cabernet Sauvignon, Montepulciano, and Sangiovese grapes, carefully grown in Cupramontana. Spontaneous fermentation in stainless steel tanks without temperature control and maceration on the skins with minimal racking and frequent batonnage. Aged in used barriques for the Montepulciano and in stainless steel for the Sangiovese and Cabernet Sauvignon, then in bottle for 3 months. Notes of wild blackberries, dark spices, toasted notes, and subtle earthy nuances. Ruby red color with garnet highlights. Intense, highly expressive, and pleasantly fresh.

From the care of the olives harvested, the three oils, grouped under the banner of the three main varieties, are shamanized: Oro Blu (Leccino), Selvatico Fiore (Mignola), Vertigine Verde (Raggia). Wine and oil are the rebirth of a fruit, the synthesis of a vintage, the sign of many stories, the ever-changing memory of the cross between hearts.
And agriculture is storytelling and fairytale, an incessant attempt to give voice to the dance of what lives. And so our soil has known neither fertilization nor deep tillage, only the careful accompaniment to growth, careful selection in the field, and maternity reception in the cellar, where we accept the risks of low sulfitation and the laborious joy of a predominantly artisan work. The oil is also research: to give voice to the freshness of the fruit, we pick the olives following their varietal ripeness, bringing them to the mill promptly (no more than 24 hours). Born from an exuberance of joy, the Di Giulia place. From the tense and strong amazement of a love. Read more
