Description
Still red from Saint-Julien, Bordeaux, 13% ABV, produced by Chateau Branaire Ducru. Blend: 58% Cabernet Sauvignon, 33% Merlot, 5% Petit Verdot, 4% Cabernet Franc. 0.75L bottle, 2021 vintage. A wine that embodies the elegance and complexity of great Bordeaux wines, the fruit of centuries of history and a passion passed down from generation to generation. The highly expressive nose displays a beautiful complexity of ripe fruit, well-balanced by fresher notes. The intensity of the bouquet develops with aeration, and the oak is well-integrated. The first impression on the palate is of a silky roundness with impressive volume, resting on extremely fine tannins. On the palate, the wine develops slowly and gradually, following its logical path to a voluptuous mid-palate with beautiful density: constantly renewed, never overpowering. Aromatic complexity and delicious acidity are omnipresent, with a delicious, long-lasting fruit finish that ensures freshness and momentum.
