Description
Still red Barolo DOCG, 14.5% ABV, 100% Nebbiolo, 2018 vintage, produced by Brandini in La Morra, Piedmont. A Barolo born from a passion for organic farming, a true lifestyle for the Brandini family. Fermentation in temperature-controlled steel tanks with maceration on the skins for approximately 4 weeks and frequent pumping over. Aged in large barrels (20/60hl) for 30 months and then 6-8 months in bottle. On the nose, it opens up after brief aeration, revealing notes of leather and eucalyptus, along with spicy and balsamic hints. Garnet red in color, tending toward orange with age. The palate is broad but not invasive, with a well-controlled structure and a balanced and harmonious digestion of the wood's contribution.
