Description
What type of wine it is
Borgogno Rivata’s Barolo is a still Piedmontese red wine of great elegance, with a Denominazione di Origine Controllata e Garantita (DOCG) status. In the glass, it displays a charming ruby red colour, while on the nose it releases an intense spicy profile, enriched by clear notes of red fruits and cinnamon. On the palate, it is dry and balanced, offering a harmonious structure. Perfect for special occasions, it shows its best after an hour of decanting.
Where it comes from
This fine red wine is born in La Morra, in the beating heart of Piedmont. The careful selection of grapes is divided between the renowned Boiolo vineyard and the vines adjacent to the Borgogno Rivata winery. Belonging to the famous Barolo area defines the product’s aromatic and gustatory identity, faithfully and sincerely enhancing the unique characteristics of the Piedmontese terroir in every single sip.
