Description
Still white wine from Collio in Friuli-Venezia Giulia, 14% ABV, produced by Borgo Conventi. 100% Sauvignon, 2015 vintage. A Sauvignon that expresses the elegance of the Collio terroir, with a complex bouquet and an enveloping flavor. The nose is intense, very complex, and elegant. Hints of peach and tropical fruit with notes of bell pepper, tomato leaf, and peppermint. The palate is soft and enveloping, with a full body that finds balance and refinement thanks to the fragrant acidity. The long aromatic finish features intriguing notes of sage and fig and concludes with a refined minerality typical of Collio wines.
