A Montepulciano d'Abruzzo born from the passion of Simone Binelli, winemaker and owner of Ausonia, who has been cultivating the Atri vineyards since 2005. Intense, with aromas of red fruits and spices, this wine is full-bodied, dry, harmonious, and tannic on the palate, with hints of red fruits and licorice. A wine that tells the story of a land and a family, ideal for pairing with red meats and aged cheeses.

It all began in 2005 when Simone Binelli followed his great passion, wine, and with the support of his wife he enrolled in Viticulture and Enology at the University of Florence. A path that led him within a few years to abandon the job of pharmacist and begin to cultivate the love for the countryside and for the natural beauty of Abruzzo. Thus Ausonia was born, a small and fascinating reality in Atri, in the province of Teramo, a winery that could not but favor the typical varieties of the territory, from pecorino to Trebbiano to, of course, to Montepulciano.
