Jean Paul Labaille continues the work of his father-in-law Claude Thomas, one of the great performers of Sancerre with Cotat and Vatan. Jean Paul is a self-taught, not born winemaker, but with humility he learned early, recently renewed the cellar, it is true that the new premises do not have the charm and poetry of the old ones, but order and cleanliness have influenced the final product .

Three are the cuvè presented, L'Autentique which best represents the characteristics of the sauvignon vine, Les Aristides also labeled Les Monts Damnès, more mineral, which better highlights the characteristics of the terroir, La Fleur de Galifard which is born on the Grand Cote da very old vines, over seventy years, and it is harvested very late.
