Artez was established in 1995 by Jean Philippe Brunello and Michel Budin located in the heart of Bas Armagnac vineyard in Artez d’Armagnac.Artez,produce single grape Bas Armagnac, by distilation on his own alambic.

In February 2002, a meeting with Absinthe producer Jean Michel Berneau led to a common Freindship, philosophy, values and passion and finally the purchase of his business in April of the same year.
