Chateau Karolus

An ancient history, which has its roots even in the sixteenth century, to see alternating owners of owners, each of which has contributed to the growth of Château Sénéjac, which already in 1800 vinified the equivalent of 100 thousand bottles of wine.
We are in the Haut-Medoc in Bordeaux, and this is where you meet the 39 hectares of vineyards of the Château, now belonging to Thierry Ryustmann, also owner of Château Talbot. Among the rows of vines with an average age of 35, there are the classic varieties planted with vines in the Bordeaux blend, divided as follows: 48% cabernet sauvignon, 37% merlot, 11% cabernet franc and petit Verdot 4%.
In the cellar are fulfilled the most ancient traditions, and each production step is designed to bring out all the inherent characteristics of the grapes. This is how wines are the result of the full attention, and above all by the glass express the essence of the area of Bordeaux and Haut-Medoc appellation.
