Description

The Brut 'TRE CLASSICO' is the winery's youngest sparkling wine, suitable for the aperitif ritual or in combination with first courses. The winery wanted it very dry and acidic to match the structure, which - although apparently fresh - hints at its future ageing in the bottle. Here is the story about this wine told by Marco Buvoli: "I must tell the truth: initially I was reluctant to produce such a young bottle (for my standards): I love aged sparkling wines with great perlage, and 3 years on the lees seemed too short a time to be able to express the structure of my sparkling wine bases at their best. But I still decided to give it a try, with the promise to myself that 'If a Buvoli doesn't come out, I won't make it'". So much fear for nothing came to a Buvoli that was younger and more drinkable than the others but still recognisable - friends tell me - for its persistence and importance in the mouth.

Details

Profumo

Perfume

Immediate sensation of delicate elegance on the nose, almost a wine that slows before enveloping you completely. Endowed with the producer's very recognisable style, it expresses itself on the nose with dehydrated flowers, followed by a touch of citrus fruit jelly (bergamot, lemon, cedar). Then comes the fruit, slightly unripe white peach and yellow plum. On the finish, aromatic herbs emerge, such as thyme and freshly picked sage.

Colore

Color

Bright straw yellow.

Gusto

Taste

The wine is fresh and clean on the palate, its softness emerging in a creamy sensation that fills the mouth. More intense aromas of herbs return for a full-bodied wine, deep in mineral tensions.

Serve at:

06 - 08 °C.

Longevity:

Charmat Method Sparkling Wines

Pairings

Its organoleptic notes are best expressed when accompanied by fish dishes, especially shellfish. Among the dishes that go best with it is sea bass baked in foil. It does not disdain the accompaniment of desserts, especially with almond paste and candied fruit.

"On a cold winter evening in 1997, I sat in front of a crackling fireplace, drinking—savoring every sip —an old Champagne blanc de noirs. In that solitary moment of simple joy, inspiration struck, and my life’s passion was born. But, more than a passion— a challenge. Could my hands craft such elegance? Could I bring to life a wine that stirred the senses, captivated the mind, and captured the heart? T hat evening, in the warmth of my home in the Vicenza hills, I dedicated my life to creating a cellar that answers these questions – crafting wines that expressed my personality and the terroir of my home, honoring the most noble of all grapes, Pinot Noir. My hope then, as it is today, was that my wines would not only find a place in the collections of true Pinot Noir enthusiasts—but that they might make a home in their hearts."
