The Venezuela is a state located in the northern part of Latin America, the territory enjoys a formidable geographical position because it is in contact with the Caribbean Sea. As regards the morphology of the territory it is possible to affirm that Venezuela presents a wide range of natural landscapes, all different from each other: the northern area is enriched by numerous mountain ranges and by the Andean massif; the central part is characterized by low and grassy plains rich in rivers, which during the rainy seasons tend to overflow and invade the surrounding areas; the southern area instead is mainly rocky thanks to the presence of the Guyana plateau. Venezuela is located not far from the equator, which greatly influences the climate of the territory that is very hot. You can clearly distinguish two seasons, the first rainy and the second very dry and dry. The country stands out for the production of the precious rum, loved and appreciated all over the world. Initially the local distillate was produced in an artisanal way without following precise regulations, but in recent years the producers have adapted to the regulations and have been able to increase their production and sale of rum, exporting the product in all the countries of the world. Three elements enhance the scenario of the production of the Venezuelan rum b>, ie passion of producers, dedication to work and use of local products, among which the sugar cane stands out as a master ingredient, introduced by Hispanic colonizers.
