Description
Classicism with native grape varieties is our guiding principle and this wine expresses this philosophy at its best. A niche Barolo, extremely honest, that does not respond to the dictates of artificiality but rather to the rigorous simplicity without frills that characterises the great old-style Barolo wines. The Vignane cru, in the commune of Barolo, is located mirror image of the Cannubi and is characterised by calcareous clay soil. Its good exposure combined with the age of the vines, which are more than 40 years old, give this Barolo extraordinary elegance and majesty at the same time, making it capable of extraordinary evolution over the years.

The turning point in 1923 with the purchase of Cascina Corsaletto. Here his son Giacomo continued the study work on a magical territory for land, exposure and position.
Only in 1980 Giovanni Battista, son of Giacomo, with the young Giacolino, oenologist at the Alba school, began the production in the bottle.
Our modus operandi has always been based on respect for the surrounding environment: organic management of the vineyards, with seasonal green manures, natural fertilizers, exclusively mechanical weeding and minimal use of copper and derivatives, for absolute respect for biodiversity. Read more
