Colour

Ruby tending to garnet.

Bouquet

Noble, definite and delicate nose. Immediate balsamic notes of mint and eucalyptus, followed by the smell of ripe red fruit. The notes of undergrowth, pear, cedar wood, chinotto, flowering bayonet, carnation and Indian spices are also revealed.

Flavour

In the mouth is soft, airy and powerful. From the wide and end texture, it is vibrant with a sapid, decidedly profile. Round and coarse tannins. The finish is long and fragrant.

Vinification Regular fermentation for 12 days at controlled temperature starting from 22 °C till 29 °C, followed by submerged cap maceration for 30 days with a stable temperature of 22 °C. After the racking off started the malolactic fermentation and it lasted 15 days at 22 °C.
Ageing 4 years in Slavonia oak casks (4500 Lt) with a further refining in bottle for 6 months.
