Furthermore, San Michele is a sheltered village on the south side of the Alps, where the mild Mediterranean climate and the cooler continental climate meet. Aging | Maturation on the lees lasts at least 48 months to achieve an otherwise unattainable elegance. No 'dosage' is added at disgorgement so as not to alter the characteristics conferred naturally by favourable environmental factors, time, and careful craftsmanship. |
