Description
The Lagrein grape variety has been known for more than six hundred years; at the Lindenburg estate, the plantings were renewed in the 1950s. The company has chosen to retain the pergola training system, which on the one hand, provides more shade for the grapes and the deep, sandy soil - very important in the summer months when Bozen is one of the most torrid cities in Italy - and on the other hand, characterises the style of this wine. Its full-bodiedness does not detract from its fruitiness and elegance. The result is a wine with a clear and precise profile suitable for long ageing.
