Vallisto

Vallisto was born from the idea of three oenologists, Francisco Lavaque, Marcelo Pelleriti and Hugh Ryman, to produce high quality wines in Argentina from its flagship grape, malbec. The project began in 2010 when five vineyards reserved for five selections of malbec were recovered in the vicinity of Salta in the north of the country. Vallisto, as well as being an ambitious oenological dream in one of the most fascinating and remote areas of Argentina, represents a successful attempt to save some of the oldest vineyards, authentic witnesses of local traditions, from abandonment.
