Extends over about 200 ha (494,2 ac) including 30 ha (74,13 ac) of vineyards of which 13.07 ha (32,29 ac) are registered to D.O.C.G. to produce Brunello di Montalcino, 7.4 ha (18,28 ac) to Rosso di Montalcino D.O.C. and 10.86 ha (26,80 ac) are registered to S.Antimo D.O.C.. The remaining area is mostly covered by olive groves, 45 ha (111,19 ac) and grain, 55 ha (135,90 ac).
Since 1995 the winery has been managed by Giovanni Ciacci, who has since been joined by his children Andrea e Francesca in the areas of business and agronomic management. For the Ciacci family, traditional ageing in big oak barrels and renewed vineyard management based on climatic changes and in favor of the territory constitute the best strategy to obtain wines that best express the territory of Montalcino.
