It is a stone's throw from Pont du Gard, in the quiet village of Saint Hilaire Ozhilan, which Bertrand and Claudie chose to settle in 1997. After 20 years as growers and members of the local cooperative have decided to start their great adventure and it is with the support of their neighbour and friend, the famous actor Jean-Louis Trintignant, that their dream has become reality.
Their flight was immortalised by the great cartoonist Enki Bilal, who illustrated the first label with a bird, which has now become the emblem of the estate. But here the star is Bertrand: the soul of wine. Constantly searching for improvements, he works with rigour and precision. The vineyards are cultivated organically, the grapes are harvested by hand and the vinification is totally natural. The wines produced are distinguished by their subtle freshness, fragrance and softness.
