The Vermentino is a vigorous and productive vine, is well suited to the meager soil, with warm and slightly drought environments, typically grown in coastal areas and warm-arid south. In the medium-late maturing, it keeps well aroma. Gives quality wines, with a beautiful color intensity.
Among the reds, Syrah and Massaretta. The latter is a native Tuscan varieties, grown in the province of Massa Carrara. Very vigorous vine with medium ripening period. It has berries with waxy skin and produces a wine with ruby red color and good body.
