1735: Jean Mandois, living at the time of Frère Oudart. The family Mandois is living in Champagne and is already proprietor of vineyards. A long history starts with Jean (born in 1698), Claude Paul (born in 1735), Jean Claude (born in 1769) and Louis Francois Auguste (born in 1811).
1860: precursor et visionary, Victor Mandois (born in 1842) vinified and commercialized the wines from Champagne in Epernay.
1905: taking over the responsibility of the champagne house, Auguste Mandois (born in 1867) moved to Pierry, acquired cellars and premises adapted to the fast development.
1960: annual sales are already reaching the 200.000 bottles level. Henri Mandois (born in 1908) left a memorable print in the history of the champagne house by enhancing the brand awareness and by developing the international distribution network.
1975: Michel Mandois (born in 1933) continued the acquisition of vineyards, adapted and modernized the premises, reinforced the independence of the champagne house.
2005: the export is now 2/3 of the entire production and the champagne house is led by Claude Mandois (born in 1961), representing the 9th generation since Jean. Claude Mandois is now in charge of following the constant policy of the house and of the continuity of the family philosophy. Independent, Mandois can continue to take the right decisions over the long run, ensure the continuity and the consistency of the style and the quality of its wines.
