The Rasina is a family-run farm, which specializes in the production of fine wines.
The company was founded in the seventies by Santi Mantengoli, but only in the second half of the eighties, with his son Vasco, the business specializes in the wine sector. It dates back to 1988, the first bottling of Brunello di Montalcino with the company logo. In 1997 the lead passed to his son Marco, young Enotecnica, by which new ideas and modern technology are combined with the traditional and decades of experience of his father.
The La Rasina is an old farmhouse recently restructured. It is located inside of the farm of the same name, separated from the manor house and immersed in the vineyards. Its main features are the peace and quiet of the countryside, the harmonious beauty of the landscapes, the simple friendliness of the owners.
The extension is 50 hectares of which 8.5 to 5 vineyards and olive groves and the remaining arable land.
The company is located on the north-east of Montalcino and its vineyards are aged between 3 and 25 years all low cordon cordon. Three red wines produced from red Montalcino which are joined two Brunelli, one and a selection of vintage, Divasco the result of a dream that lasted nearly a decade.
The range is completed an extra virgin olive oil and two different brandies of this rising star in view of Montalcino.
