Every day, since 1956, the Cognacs of the Maison François Peyrot have been made with the utmost dedication, the fruit of a 'savoir-faire' handed down from father to son over decades. They are the result of passion, hard work and perseverance. The 25 hectares of vines, where the grapes from which the Cognacs are harvested, are located in the town of Jarnac, in the 'Grande Champagne 1er Cru de Cognac', and are cultivated with respect for the environment, favouring quality over quantity. From the vineyard to the cellar, the step is short. Immersed in the half-light and humidity, the essence of wood impregnated with evaporated alcohol almost seems to be the 'perfume of angels': this is how the mystery is fulfilled, with the birth of unique and inimitable Cognacs, whose fragrances are mastered by the infallible skill of the 'maitre de chai', the cellar master.
