Evinate is the fruit of 4 oenologist friends: Roberto Santana, Alfonso Torrente, Laura Ramos and José Martinez. This group was created in 2005 while studying oenology at the University of Miguel Hernandez in Alicante. After graduation, they formed a winemaking consulting company, which evolved into Envinate. This project explores particular plots in the Ribeira Sacra and Canary Islands regions.
Their goal is to produce profoundly pure and authentic wines that express the 'terruno' in a clear and concise manner. To this end, no chemicals are used in the Envinate vineyards, the harvest is all done by hand, the grapes are trodden with the feet and the wines are fermented exclusively with indigenous yeasts.
