In the Venetian hinterland of Venice, in the heart of the classic DOC Prosecco, the area most suited to Collalbrigo, Refrontolo and Feletto where for attestation of Bonifacio between 500 and 600 wines produced in this area were called "precious "by the excellent quality, is the farm Colsaliz. The name of the hill seems to derive from the shape of the sandstone type soil called in dialect "Saliz" that gives the particular characteristics of the Prosecco grapes of this area.
The company owned by Antonio Faganello, spread in 15 hectares of vineyards located in the municipality of Refrontolo and favorably exposed from the west to the south-west at an altitude between 200 and 300 meters above sea level.
The wines produced in this company are all made from Prosecco grapes where properties with modern winemaking facilities switching from soft pressing the must fermentation in temperature-controlled containers and later in autoclaves for the second fermentation. The Colsaliz Prosecco is offered in two versions: sparkling and bubbly.
