La Cave des Onze Communes, inaugurated in 1990, is a cellar that collects and transforms grapes from vineyards of eleven municipalities in central Aosta, located on the right and on the left bank of the Dora Baltea: Quart, Saint-Christophe, Aosta, Sarre, Saint-Pierre, Villeneuve, Introd, Aymavilles, Jovençan, Gressan, Charvensod, including between 550 and 900 meters above sea level.
The grapes are conferred by two hundred members who, as true artisans of the earth, work manually and with passion about sixty hectares of vineyards, extremely parceled, many of them arranged on the steep slopes, difficult to reach and impossible to mechanize. Through their work, practiced in an environmentally responsible, with a reduced use of pesticides and proper agronomic practices, the benefits come to full maturity in the juice concentrate the soul of the earth Aosta Valley.
