Castello di Uviglie

A wine-producing reality with a long history, framed by the Castello di Uviglie; an elegant "living room" dedicated to cultural, literary and musical activities, organized periodically. The production context is that of Rosignano Monferrato, a unique environment for viticulture and the heart of production of varieties such as Barbera and Grignolino.

Simone Lupano is in charge of this, offering a rich and traditional range, the result of a philosophy aimed at altering the organoleptic characteristics of the grapes as little as possible, through careful winery practices and eco-sustainable vineyard processing.

The Barbera del Monferrato Superiore Pico Gonzaga 2014, in spite of a year that is anything but easy, is the surprise of the year: a wine that combines the typical aromatic disinhibition of the vine with an intense sip, in which all the components interact in a choral.
