Ca' Stelle

Nights in the open air in the countryside are a world heritage site. An experience that engages the five senses like few others in the world. A mix of sensations that vary from season to season, from month to month and even from day to day.
All unique and unrepeatable, works of art by that great master that only Nature can be.

That September night in particular was certainly not the first night that Mariano and Raffaele had spent under the stars in front of that endless area of vineyards. The darkness charged the green of the leaves hanging from the vines and made it look almost an intense blue, while the bunches of grapes hidden by the same foliage reflected the moon's rays here and there. Perhaps it was the magical air or perhaps the half-full glasses they were holding, that night, in the countryside, it felt like standing in front of the sea.

The air was crisp, like the sparkling wine in their glasses. The clear sky made it possible to recognise every single bright spot in a constellation. The two brothers were in their early twenties, and at that age it is easy to daydream. Especially if one of those stars in front of you slips down leaving a bright trail behind it.

What is rather difficult, however, is to express the same wish while looking at the same comet: that night this also happened, but the two brothers would only discover it a few years later. When on that land, in front of an oceanic expanse of vines, under a ceiling of stars and toasting with two glasses of wine taken straight from the barrel, they set up their winery.

Our Falanghina del Sannio DOC Cassyopea 2020 was awarded the Corona by the Vinibuoni d'Italia 2022 guide.
