From this winery
On the eastern border of the most famous Lombard denomination for the production of bubbles, immersed in the Natural Park of the Campiani Hills of Cellatica at 400 m above sea level, we work as artisans 6.5 hectares of vineyards. An enclave of nature and peace, swept by the wind and breezes (hence Cà del Vént - the house of the wind), arranged in an amphitheater and facing west south-west. In front of us on the horizon stand the Monte Rosa chain and to the south-west the Tuscan-Emilian Apennine ridge.
Unique soils in the region, clayey limestone loam, and a dense system of underground springs have given rise to 11 different crus, all cared for by hand and with personalized agronomic practices, to be able to accompany the distinctive characteristics of each microzone in each single grape. We harvest each cru separately and at very low yields (less than 1kg grapes/plant), making wine instinctively and not according to protocols: our wines are the children of vintages, of the land and of a deep sensitivity towards the plants.
