Still organic red wine from Etna DOC, 14% ABV, produced by Wiegner. 100% Nerello Mascalese. 0.75 L bottle, 2022 vintage. An Etna Rosso that expresses the power of the volcano, produced with passion by the Wiegner family. Climate: 750 m above sea level. Exposure: North-South and East-West. Soil composition: Volcanic. Training system: Alberello, spurred cordon. Spontaneous fermentation at a controlled temperature. Aged in barriques and barrels, and bottle for at least 6 months. Aromas of red forest fruit with a slight hint of vanilla. Very clear ruby red color. Pronounced tannins and good flavor, dry wine with fruity notes, the long and complex finish combines the minerality of the soil with the softness of the fruit.
