Description

Still organic red wine from Piedmont, 12% ABV, produced by Vajra. 100% Dolcetto. 0.75 L bottle, 2024 vintage. A Dolcetto d'Alba that expresses the soul of Piedmont, a wine born from the passion of a family that has been growing its vineyards organically for over 50 years. Harvest takes place in the first half of September. A gentle vinification process usually lasts up to 15 days, with a couple of punching downs per day. The wine is racked at least twice before malolactic fermentation, which takes place in stainless steel tanks. Aged exclusively in stainless steel, it is bottled the spring following the harvest. Bright purple in color. It opens with notes of blackberry and mulberry that give way to a fresh nuance of bright mountain flowers and sweet spices. Rich and broad on the palate, the Dolcetto d'Alba achieves the perfect harmony between varietal tannins and fruit.
