The heart of the winery is located in the centre of the Imola estate, where only and exclusively grapes from the estate vineyards are vinified. All the vineyards are cultivated according to integrated pest management methods, which involve grassing between the rows and a minimum use of synthetic chemical products. In addition, in recent years, surprising results have been achieved by taking into account the influence of the phases of the moon (a "classic" of biodynamics) with regard to certain agronomic practices, such as topping, planting new plants and, in some cases, even the date of harvest. Even the cellar operations, which have in Vittorio Navacchia a mature and capable protagonist, are reduced to the essential and each intervention is carried out with full respect, not only of the fruit, but above all of the vintage, in the certainty of finding an equally mature interlocutor in knowing how to relate the final result and the conditions that originated it, so much so that almost all the wines in production are made from single grape varieties, thanks, above all, to the great work carried out, every day, in the vineyards.
