Description

Still red wine from Tuscany, 15% ABV, produced by Pietroso Azienda Agricola. 100% Sangiovese, 2020 vintage. A wine that embodies the passion and dedication of winemaker Domenico Berni, who founded the winery in Montalcino in the 1970s with the goal of producing fine wines in limited quantities. The vineyard is planted exclusively with Sangiovese and is located in three distinct areas within the municipality of Montalcino, allowing for a balanced wine even in years with particular climatic conditions. On the nose, aromas of red fruit are complemented by notes of undergrowth reminiscent of the land from which it originates. On the palate, the wine is well-structured, with velvety tannins that enhance its complexity.
