Description
Still red wine from Burgundy, 13% ABV, produced by Pierre Andre. 100% Pinot Noir, 2022 vintage. A wine that embodies the elegance and finesse of Burgundian Pinot Noir, with a history dating back to 1923. Côte de Nuits-Villages is produced in the Côte de Nuits in the northern municipalities of Fixin and Brochon and in the south in Premeaux-Prissey, Comblanchien, and Corgoloin. Traditional vinification in temperature-controlled stainless steel vats for approximately three weeks: cold pre-fermentation maceration at approximately 8°C. Pigeage and pumping over to extract color and structure. Fermentation at a peak temperature of approximately 30°C. Post-fermentation maceration at 25°C. Aged in barrels for 8 to 16 months with malolactic fermentation. 20% new barrels. Intense aromas of fresh red fruit (cherry, redcurrant, blackcurrant) with notes of spice (cinnamon). Deep purple color. A soft wine with supple tannins, fullness, roundness, and good depth, perfect for pairing with red meats and aged cheeses.
