Description
Still organic red wine made from Barbera d'Alba, 14.5% ABV, produced by La Spinetta. Vintage 2022. A wine that embodies the passion and dedication of the Rivetti family, founders of La Spinetta, which has been producing excellent wines in Piedmont since 1977. Maceration and alcoholic fermentation in temperature-controlled tanks for 9 days. Aged in French oak barrels, approximately 30% new and the remainder used a second time, for approximately 12 months. The result is a purplish-red wine with aromas of small red fruits, ripe plums, and pansies. On the palate, it is broad and balanced, with lingering balsamic notes and blackberry jam.
