Description

What kind of wine it is

Remole Rosato by Frescobaldi is a still wine with Typical Geographical Indication from Tuscany, made from Merlot grapes and vinified in stainless steel. It stands out for its dry and light style, supported by a lively, balanced acidity. The aromatic profile reveals notes of blueberry, raspberry and delicate hints of violet, offering a refreshing finish. Perfect as a refined aperitif, it pairs ideally with fish dishes, vegetables and semi-mature cheeses.

Where it comes from

The vineyards are located in central Tuscany, carefully selected to ensure the best sun exposure. The area enjoys a mild climate and summer temperature variations that favour the perfect ripening of the grapes. The sandy-clay soils give the palate a defined texture and a clear progression, reflecting the unique characteristics of the region. Production is deeply linked to the historic Villa di Remole, a symbol of Frescobaldi's centuries-old agricultural tradition.

How it is produced

Production begins with a rigorous manual harvest carried out in September. Fermentation takes place at a controlled temperature for thirteen days. The absence of malolactic fermentation preserves the natural liveliness of the fruit. The wine then matures for four months in stainless steel tanks, with no ageing in barrels; a meticulous process that ensures the freshness and aromatic clarity typical of Merlot.

History and Curiosities

The Remole Rosato Toscana IGT pays tribute to the ancient Villa di Remole, a historic residence that preserves over seven hundred years of the family history of the Marchesi Frescobaldi. Tasting this wine means bringing the authentic agricultural tradition of the region to the table, celebrating a centuries-old Tuscan heritage passed down with absolute dedication. This elegant rosé embodies a deep connection with the land, turning every glass into a toast dedicated to the cultural continuity from generation to generation.

The little joys of life, the pleasure of flavours and taste – these are the sensations Tuscany offers, and which Frescobaldi wishes to dedicate to whoever sees in wine a culture beyond the vine and the grape. The dream of my family is to share our work, our emotions and our passion through our wines, to share a life dedicated to understanding and developing these terroirs, inspired by the spirit of Tuscany, the art of what is beautiful and what is good.

One thousand years of family history are a unique and incomparable treasure of knowledge and tradition. It is our duty to share this passion with future generations, passing on our love for these eternal places, these eternal hills.
