Description
Still red wine from Tuscany IGT, 2016 vintage, produced by Castello di Ama, a historic Chianti Classico winery founded in 1976. Blend: 50% Sangiovese, 25% Cabernet Franc, 25% Merlot. 0.75 l bottle. A wine born from the passion and dedication of a family that has successfully brought value to the Tuscan region. Fermentation is induced by indigenous yeasts and separated by variety in temperature-controlled steel tanks. Aged in fine-grained oak barrels for 12 months. Fruity, reminiscent of berries, particularly blackberries; spicy, with hints of ripe bell pepper, green pepper, nutmeg, and sandalwood. A hint of balsamic, almost mentholated note. Intense purple red color with ruby reflections. Rich, powerful, elegant, soft, and persistent.
