Description

In Casa Lupo's list of excellences, Lugana represents the first white wine. Hence the obligation to bottle an elite product, the fruit of passion, research and technique. The peculiarity of Lugana is that it has two lives: when young, it is characterised by a fresh and elegant personality, while after a few years of bottle ageing, the fruity notes give way to more refined almonds.

Paladin Vigne e Vini is the first winery of the whole Casa Paladin group, it’s a family owned estate founded by our father in 1962, in Motta di Livenza, near Treviso. It’s located at the boundaries of the Venetian land where we moved in the mid-70s, in Annone Veneto, a historic village located in the Roman Postumia road. The passion and love for vine and wine comes from our father, Valentino, who used to follow his grandfather, since he was a child, in the vineyards and in the cellar.

Passion, research, dedication and respect for traditions are the main values that have been guiding his philosophy since he created his own cellar. He was strongly determined to enhance the territorial typicalness of our Lison-Pramaggiore area, by producing excellent wines.

Story Turbiana, also known as Trebbiano di Lugana, is an indigenous vine with a strong territorial imprint, which grows on calcareous and clayey soils and benefits from the Lake breezes and the typically Mediterranean climate that characterises the area.
Origin The Lugana Doc vineyards are located between Veneto and Lombardy, overlooking Lake Garda
Climate Average altitude of 80 00 m. a.s.l.
Harvest Grapes harvested when fully ripe in September and very talented soil give a fresh and structured product with great ageing capacity.
Wine making After a gentle pressing, the short cold maceration in contact with the skins begins, where precious primary aromas of the grapes are extracted. Alcoholic fermentation at a controlled temperature lasts about 12 days and precedes ageing in steel vats for several months. Here, thanks to the batonnage technique, the noble sediments are put back into suspension, which give the wine its typical characteristics of roundness and longevity.
Allergens Contains sulphites
