Description
Still red from Tuscany IGT, 14% ABV, produced by Bertinga. Blend: 85% Sangiovese, 15% Merlot. 0.75L bottle, 2019 vintage. A wine born from the passion and dedication of Bertinga, which produces complex and aged terroir-based wines. On the nose, intriguing notes of red fruit, cherry, and violet alternate with small black berries and mineral notes. A full-bodied and structured wine while maintaining tension, with clean, well-integrated tannins and a very persistent finish.

Bertinga gazes out over Tuscany from atop its winecellar at 540 metres. At its feet are three vineyards, two grape varieties, and one exceptional terroir: Gaiole in Chianti. The vineyards are Bertinga, Vertine, and Adine.
