Description
Still red from the Côte Rôtie, Rhône, France, produced by Domaine Benjamin et David Duclaux, 12.5% ABV, 2021 vintage. This wine comes from a domaine founded in 1928 by Frédéric Caillet, the great-grandfather of brothers Benjamin and David. A complex bouquet with spicy notes, hints of incense, and notes of violets, raspberries, olives, and spring flowers. On the palate, the wine is silky, with very soft tannins, accompanied by aromas of cherry and plum. An impressive and elegant wine, with a long and elegant finish.
