Description
Still red from Campania, 14.5% ABV, produced by Amarano. 100% Aglianico, 2013 vintage. A Taurasi Riserva from the heart of Irpinia, a land long suited to grape growing. Vinification in stainless steel, lengthy maceration of the skins at a controlled temperature. Aged for 24 months in French oak barriques and tonneaux, 12 months in bottle. Spicy aromas of pepper, black cherry, and elegant balsamic nuances. Deep ruby red. The late harvest and subsequent aging yield a very structured wine with remarkable aromatic complexity.
