Description
Still red Barolo DOCG, 15% ABV, produced by Elio Altare in La Morra, Piedmont. 100% Nebbiolo. 0.75L bottle, 2021 vintage. A Barolo that perfectly expresses the character of Nebbiolo, with an elegance and complexity that make it unique. Maceration on the skins in temperature-controlled rotofermenters for 3-4 days, aged in barriques for 24 months. Bright ruby red with garnet highlights, fruity and floral notes on the nose. Warm and elegant on the palate, with a finish of menthol and licorice.
