Story Some of the vines derived from this wine are 140 years old. Young vines were obtained through mass selection to preserve this genetic treasure of ancient and unique DNA for the future. Only vines with this old DNA were selected and vinified for this wine.
Origin From the best company's vineyards in Margreid (Bolzano/Bozen).
Climate Altitude: 230 m. a.s.l.
Soil composition Sandy, gravelly and limestone.
Yield per hectare 3,700 kg/hectare.
Harvest From the 10th to the 17th of September.
Wine making Spontaneous fermentation of the crushed grapes, with various percentages of whole bunches.
