Solemme Champagne

We are located in Villers aux Nœuds, a few kilometres south of Reims on the Reims-Epernay axis. We cultivate 6 ha of vines on 5 terroirs in the first growth of the Montagne de Reims and one in the Vallée de l'Ardre. The geologically varied soils (chalk, clay and limestone, silt, sand), the exposure dominated by the plain and the mid-hills allow our three grape varieties, Pinot Meunier, Chardonnay and Pinot Noir to express themselves fully.

Our sensitivity to nature constantly pushes us to modify our cultivation techniques. Since 2010 we have introduced organic farming on part of the farm. In addition to grassing and natural substances that help the vine to defend itself, we use biodynamic methods. The rest of the operation incorporates integrated pest management.

Over the years, we have tried to improve these techniques to promote the harmony of the vine with its natural environment. Our wines, produced from sustainable viticulture and organic farming, are vinified separately at the Villedommange producers' cooperative. They are made by us in our cellar.

We pay particular attention to them at the time of disgorging by constantly seeking the best balance for each cuvée.
